Flappy Birds Family is a resurrected version of the popular and addictive game, Flappy Bird. Originally pulled from app stores, this new version brings back the same tap-to-flap mechanic that made the original so addictive.
In Flappy Birds Family, players must navigate their bird through gaps between pipes to achieve a high score. However, touching a pipe or the floor will result in the bird's demise and the need to start over.
This version of the game introduces three different characters to choose from and adds new obstacles in the form of rotating ghost-like characters around a magic egg. Players can choose to avoid the ghosts or take a risk and try to collect the egg for extra points.
Compared to the original, Flappy Birds Family is slightly easier, with the bird flying a bit slower and larger gaps between pipes. The most significant addition is the inclusion of a two-player, split-screen mode, allowing players to compete against each other to see who can keep flapping the longest.
Visually, Flappy Birds Family maintains the same retro 8-bit graphics as the original game, reminiscent of classics like Super Mario World. While there are no new backgrounds, music, or distinct characters, fans of the original will find the charm they loved.
If you were a fan of the original Flappy Bird and are eagerly awaiting its return, Flappy Birds Family is worth checking out. While it may not be worth purchasing an Amazon Fire TV just for this game, keep an eye out for its release on Google Play and other mobile app stores.
